getting lots done, learning more, starting hear a difference, i like progress, it feels good. lot of new songs in the working, recording news ideas a playing with them.  i think the mixing is still bad, and playing still needs work

been playing the yamaha for awhile now, love the feel, the sound is darker, great for playing some things, not so much for others. need to get a single coil (p-90 style) guitar with maybe maple fretboard (?)
something that sounds better higher up, some solos need the single coil cutting, all my guitars are humbuckers

feeling better.

still hate writing lyrics, no progress there.  need to learn more about processing vocals, but need lyrics firsts, and singers, vocalists

posted new demo versions today, so i can listen and evaluate
what else?

old - groove 4

done with audacity, and all instruments room mic'd. i like this groove and want to remake, i may have revisit using audacity, the sound is actual, the shittyness of my room and mics and gear show. thr DIs sound better, but still my gear is cheap and sound that way, but...

i want to try this on cakewalk. i wish audacity had plugin stuff

this one next i think, maybe

poor kid

bubblegum song - "i came here to do two things..."

bubblegum song demo 2-1, newest one made today

funk and punk

this not complete, needs cymbals and drums added in both verses, and the last section is still non-existant. i'm thinking maybe unleash the beast with the guitar for the second half, and some riffs too, key change would be nice, go up higher for the crecendo. have some nonsense lyrics for it too

i don't, like the bass tone better in the og, and the synth voice too, cant remember what i used for it. like the og better so far. will play with the mix and replace whatnot

vs: the old verson demo 1-whatever

this one made i forget when, one of my first, and with audacity

so far it sounds better... ?

music of space

data sonification

NASA’s “Music of the Universe” refers to its data sonification projects, where scientific data from space telescopes are translated into sound so they can be experienced beyond visual form. This approach was developed in part to make astronomy accessible to blind and low-vision communities, but it also creates immersive, artistic interpretations of the cosmos

groove 11

 newest project demo 1

funk-blues i guess

i like this one, very raw yet, must re-record the rhythm guitars in the bridge, got some weir artifacts in there, and the hiss from the keyboard (drums) is back... how weird, thought i got rid of that.  anywhere, change to figure out how to use noise gates, so...

all for now

groove 8

 demo 1

i'm calling it punk, it feels puck, i starting as a punk song, but there is a lot of prog in there, its proggingly punked, its punkishly progressed

raw, its weird. still have finish keys for last section, Em with blues, unmixed. maybe put chorus on lead.

update: ok, added piano and the chorus, sounds pretty good i think.

voodoo bucket

demo 1 i think, made with audacity

blues, swamp blues, voodoo blues

time to record a new demo of this song.  i like this one, rewritten a bunch of it.  this verson was on audacity used miced amps, using cheap mics and in a bad room. guitar is out of tune, can't believe i did that

work on this this week maybe
